We have been tuning Turbo Diesel’s  long before most of our rivals, and we know that tuning cars is not  ‘plug and play’ as many would have you think.

Every car is different  and needs to be treated as such, the way the  vehicle has been ‘run-in’ and serviced can have a marked effect on its performance and the way it can be tuned.

JD Mototech are rolling road test every vehicle whilst recording engine management information such as:-

     Boost pressure
     Exhaust gas temperature
     Timing advance
     Air fuel ratio

To determine the safe limits to which it can be tuned to its optimum safe limit.

Unlike nearly everybody else, we custom remap every vehicle ‘in house’ and never re-use old files!! No two cars perform the same!!  No BLACK BOX’S OR PLUG IN’S, we alter the original software maps held within engine management control unit (ECU), it allows us to change parameters not available any other way.

Once tuning has been carried out we run the vehicle again to make sure all is well.

This is vital to ensure your engine is not stressed beyond its limits, all of these things are not checked if a plug in box is used or a man with a laptop programs your car with a file he’s bought off the internet! Also how can you be sure you’ve got what they’ve claimed?

We have invested tens of thousands of pounds in equipment to give you the best service possible; a correctly tuned turbo diesel engine will be a joy to drive with savings on  mpg!
A poorly tuned diesel can be an expensive nightmare!
